Hey ya'll. Here are the items that I was able to find for me and my son yesterday at the Thrift Store. My thrifting buddy, Sarah, and I went to the Volunteers of America on Henderson Rd, in Columbus after work yesterday. Because it was National Thrift Store Day, the whole store was 50% off! Yes that is right half off. Here are the things I picked up during my trip. The total I spent was $32.40.

1)  Here is the jeans I found for me.  They are the tailored style with designed back pockets.  The pictures do no justice to these jeans,  They are so thick and nice.  They were priced at $1.99 and with the 50% sale, they were only $0.99!!!

2)  This is a pair of Old Navy Diva jeans.  I keep ads on the TV where all of their jeans are on sale for $19.00.  They were priced at $1.99 so I paid a whole $0.99 for these jeans.  I could get 19 pairs of jeans at that price compared to their current price.

3)  Yes i know, I know.  This is not the prettiest shirt all wrinkled and all but I saw the potential.  It is from Old Navy.  Once I iron it, I think it will be a nice addition to my work wardrobe.  It was priced at $0.99 so I got it for $0.50!

4)  My son will love these.  His wardrobe seems to be anything Nike, Under Armour or anything sports related.  They loo perfect.  No snags, no stains.  They were priced at $7.99 so with the 50%, I paid a whopping $3.99 for these pants.

5)  Here are a pair of Levi's Authentic brand jeans.  My son absolutely refuses to wear jeans that are not dark in color.  Plus my dad hates it when he wears jeans that have any kind of holes in them.  He teases us about not being able to afford whole pants.  So this will please everyone.  They were priced at $4.99 so I paid $2.49

6)  Ecko Jeans!!!  They are the perfect size for my son.  They are also dark!!  Score one for mom.  They were marked at $6.99 so I only paid $3.49 for them.

7)  Aeropostale jeans for my son.  They might be a little rough at the bottom but knowing my son he would of made them this way without any help.  He said they are a little light for him but he said he was OK with them.  They were marked $1.99 so I paid $0.99 for them.

8)  This is a cute dress shirt from Torrid.  They have cute stylish clothes for big girls.  I will throw on a cardigan and black pants to head to work.  This was priced at $6.99 so I only paid $3.49.
9)  Here is another pair of pants I know my son will soon be living in.  They are not name brand but they are nice and not snagged.  They were priced at $1.99 so I got them for $0.99.

10)  Lane Bryant black sweater.  The detailing at the top of the sweater is very cute.  This is multiple purpose piece that can go with jeans or dress pants.  The price on this sweater is $2.99, bringing my price down to $1.49.

11)  This green shirt is very cute.  It lose at the bottom so I will put on a long tank under it.  It was priced at $0.99 so I got this cute shirt for $0.49.

12)  This is what i will live in during winter time.  It is a soft long sleeve tee from Old Navy.  The sleeves even are capped at the bottom.  The price was $4.99 so it cost me only $2.49.

13)  This is such a cute henley.  I love these comfy shirts.  It is also from Old Navy.  It was priced at $099 so I only paid $0.49.

14)  This is an Ashley Stewart kimono shirt.  It had the original price tag on it and it was originally priced at $34.00.  It is so cute and I am excited to wear this.  The price was $8.99 but I paid only $4.49.

15)  This is my final deal.  Another Old Navy shirt with the pull strings on the side.  I love the colors and the sleeves.  It was priced at $4.99 so I paid only $2.49.

Add up all the clothes they come up to $30.35, then add tax and my whole trip cost me only $32.40.  As I was taking pictures of all of my clothes.  my best buddy cuddled up in them.  I couldn't resist!!  I guess he likes the clothes too.

Target Clothing Deals

So I started this blog, it is time to put some of my great deals on here.  I am a HUGE fan of Target.  First of all, they have their own coupons.  Their coupons can also be combined with manufacturing coupons, which is called stacking, that double the savings.  For example, Target had a $1.00 off any Garnier Fructis hair product that I printed for their website.  I used that coupon with my $1.00 off any styling product from Garnier Fructis that I got from my weekly coupons I receive from the paper.  This allows me to get $2.00 off any one item.

Next, they have alot of coupons for their own brand of products.  This also includes clothes.  Any Target shopper knows that they have great Clearance.  So combine Target clothing coupons with items that have already been marked down = ONE SPECTULAR DEAL!!!!!!  I have managed to pay absolutly NOTHING for tons of clothing items.  Here are some of my most recent deals.

This shir has got me so many compliments.  It is super colorful, has cut out sleeves and a eleastic waistband around the bottom for blousing.  It was marked down to $6.88.  I had a $3.00 any Plus Size Clothing item so I only paid $3.88 for this shirt.  I could wear this to work with some black pants or put it with jeans.  Love it!!

This is a shirt I paid nothing but tax for.  It must of been marked wrong or was the very last of this style of shirt because it was the only one I could find.  I am going to give it to one of my friends since I do not like the way it fits.  I found this on the clearance rack for $3.00 and I had a $3.00 off any Mossismo item.

This is another shirt I got for less than $0.25, with paying just for the tax.  I would pair it with some white pants and dress it up with some cute jewlery.  I got this purple one as well as a plain blue one.  Throw a cardigan over it and it will be great for an office.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog!!!  This is my way of showing all the ways I am able to save money.  I am an avid couponer who follows many blogs and thought I should do this.

This blog will show you how to coupon, how to stockpile, what I am able to find on my couponing adventures as well as what I am able to find at the thrift stores that I visit.

I am always being asked how I am able to get the things I get and how I get them so cheap.  I am a single mother of one and have to be thirfty about the things that we get.
